Sand Dune Stud Earrings

These reticulated studs are perfect for every day wear. Their ridged surface reminds me of Michigan's great sand dunes, and the ripples in the sand as it nears the shore. Sterling silver post, with a nickel-free wing back. Approximately 1/4" circles (like a paper punch) and available in silver or brass.
 
Reticulated metal is created by heating and cooling the metal repeatedly, so that the mix of metals cool at a different rate. This creates the many ridges and bumps in the metal. Science is cool.
